Pediatric Medical Assistant, with Pediatric experience required and Certification preferred, is needed at a rapidly growing pediatric office. Our practice currently has five office locations between Pickens, Cherokee, Fulton, & Floyd Counties. We have four Internal Medicine / Primary Care with Med Spa Locations, and one exclusive Pediatric Location. Our Pediatrics are growing rapidly, to the point we are expanding Our New Pediatric office, in Jasper, is currently under construction now to provide ample space for staff and patients. We are also expanding our Pediatrics to our Canton Location as well, and will begin with limited hours at this location This position will require the ability to work from our Pediatric office located in Jasper, GA. and the Pediatric Suite that will be located in our Canton office.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

*Completion of Medical Assistant Degree/Diploma Program

*Pediatric Care Experience Required

*CMA/RMA Credentialing Required

*A minimum of 2 years of Medical Assisting experience is required

*Excellent Computer Skills/ Epic EHR Experience Required

*Must be willing to work at either office locations between Jasper and Canton, at any given time

*Must be Punctual & Dependable

*Must be able to multi-task, & work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

*Must be a Team Player & Possess Strong Communication/Leadership Skills

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Vital Signs

* Urinalysis

* Prepare & Administer vaccinations

* Prepare & Administer IM & Subcutaneous Injections

* Body Analysis

* Nasopharyngeal Swabs (Influenza Screens, COVID-19 Screens, RSV & other Viruses and Bacteria)

* Strep Screens

* POCT (Point Of Care Testing)

* Ear Irrigations

* Nebulizer Treatments

* Drug Screens

* Hearing/Vision Testing

* Exam/Treatment Room Preparation

* Assisting provider with examinations & routine procedures

* Physicals / Well Child Exams

* Knowledge of GRITS (GA Immunization Registry) & VFC (Vaccines For Children)

*Minor Surgical Procedures with Instrument/Equipment Sterilization

October 2021 Pediatrician Dr. Jane Jurma joined our practice, and we opened our very own Pediatric office We have always treated kids, of all ages, for acute matters. It has been super exciting to branch out into the Pediatric world of medicine Our Pediatric office continues to grow In 2023 we added our first Pediatric NP, Anna Kinley, and have quickly outgrown our original Pediatric office space We are in the process of building a new Pediatric office to accommodate that growth, and we will also be adding a second PNP to join our practice in June 2024

We use various medical and herbal combination modalities, after a very thorough initial lifestyle analysis, social support review and detailed medical workup. We will implement currently FDA approved weight loss medical protocols on top of a through lifestyle change for the whole family to achieve long lasting results. Goals of the practice aim on serving the community by providing care that ranges from basic nutritional education to implementing aggressive medical and surgical treatment options to achieve optimum weight and ultimately peak health.

We opened June of 2006, and ever since we have been advancing our treatments and product lines. Prestige MedSpa brings clinical to the therapuetic, as although we are a relaxation spa, we also have medical anti-aging treatments such as fillers, Botox, etc..
