Job Description:

As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, working closely with pharmacists to ensure the accurate preparation and distribution of medication. You will be responsible for compounding sterile preparations under aseptic conditions and adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring a sterile compounding area.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of compounding equipment.
• Conduct inventory management tasks, including ordering and stocking of supplies and medications.
• Document compounding processes and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance compounding practices and patient safety.
• Assist pharmacists and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

• IA PharmacyTechnician license
• Home Infusion pharmacy experience orclinical pharmacy experience are desirable
• Sterile compounding experience
• One year experience
• PTCB Certification
