Patient Care Liaison

Brookfield Health & Wellness, LLC, is an integrative wellness clinic with an emphasis on mind/body approaches to healing and is a smoke free environment. This position requires excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn quickly, provide care with compassion, multi-task and be capable of interacting with patients of all ages.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform opening procedures, assuring readiness of the clinic each day, when assigned;
• Greet patients and visitors, directing patients to appropriate treatment space;
• Maintain timeliness of providing treatment(s) according to daily schedule;
• Answer telephone calls and direct to appropriate staff as necessary;
• Assist patients with checking in/out and scheduling;
• Provide patients information regarding cost of treatment and assist in processing payment;
• Assist patients in completing appropriate forms and paperwork in compliance with clinic requirements;
• Ensure proper documentation of patient communication relative to visit and health concerns;
• Assist in ensuring patients charts are prepared and office procedures are followed daily;
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of patient treatment spaces throughout scheduled shift;
• Ensure reception area is tidy and comfortable and welcoming throughout day;
• Ensure refreshments are offered and re-stocked as necessary;
• Perform closing procedures, assuring clinic is properly shut down according to requirements and secured each working day, when assigned;
• Demonstrate positive, compassionate attitude when working with patients;
• Providing patient support and education as needed or requested;
• Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of patients assuring patient confidentiality at all times;
• Establish effective and professional communication and rapport with staff members, patients and all visitors;
• Participate in staff and educational meetings/trainings as requested;
• Follow all clinic guidelines and work policies;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position requires employee to work two (2) weekends per month.
