Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing nursing assessments, interventions and evaluations for adult patients in a residential group setting.
  • Provide medical attention to non-verbal, non-ambulatory residents. This includes ensuring the well-being of the residents by maintaining a positive and supportive environment
Requirements:

Required Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • Thorough knowledge of the nursing process as it applies to the provision medical services to adult individuals.
  • Accurate and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in preforming CPR and in administrating First Aid.
  • Ability to assess, strengths and limitations, help establish realistic goals and measurable objectives, plan and implement, appropriate interventions, and evaluate the outcome of services provided.
  • LPN- must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree and be currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Montana.
  • RN- Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Registered Nursing Degree and be currently licensed as a RN in the State of Montana.
  • Should have a minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or residential setting.
