One of our best clients is looking for a Deli Manager that has Deli Management experience. This role will be working 35-40 hours - 5 day shifts, including one weekend day. This role could have opening and closing responsibilities as well as overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Deli.

Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Deli department
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise deli staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Monitor and control food costs to meet budgetary goals


Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role, strongly prefer deli experience.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Proficient in interviewing and selecting qualified candidates for deli positions
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
