Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in transforming the smiles of our patients. You'll work within a supportive environment, assist with orthodontic procedures, help create beautiful and confident smiles, and an awesome patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, impressions, and photographs
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements:
- Dental assisting experience, preferably in an orthodontic setting
- Great hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
