Position Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Location: Melbourne, FL Summary:LEAD Technical is currently looking for a CNC Machinist for our manufacturing client in the Melbourne area. In this role, you will setup, program and run milling machines, creating various parts for multiple builds. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role that is available immediately.  Responsibilities: 
  • Create parts for various products using drawings and specifications.
  • Program Hurco Vertical Mill via conversational interface to create parts to tight tolerances primarily utilizing steel.
  • Work from part lists independently creating necessary materials to ensure production moves smoothly.
 Qualifications:  
  • Minimum 4 years experience in machining, specifically milling.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with the daily production of multiple one off parts to spec.
  • Experience with Hurco Vertical Mill preferred but not required.
  • Experience with conversational programming.
