Hunter Recruitment Advisors (HRA), an RPO and Recruitment Marketing Company, is seeking a talented and organized Accounting Specialist for Hooksett, NH. This position will be onsite and reporting to one of our reputable business Owners. In this role you will be an integral aspect of the team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an accountant in the trades industry. They will have experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, financial reporting, and payroll.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage all accounting tasks for the office
  • Accounting - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cash Flow
  • Banking and monthly financial statements
  • Payroll - experience with hourly and commission-based employees, sub-contractors, additional labor, collection of payments, sales, and inventory
  • Ensure all generally accepted accounting principles are followed and accounting records are correct
  • Provide general administrative support to our employees and communicate effectively with all office employees and clients
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, new/current employee engagement

What Makes YOU Great
  • You have a minimally 5 years of accounting experience
  • Accounting experience at a construction company or experience serving construction clients is highly preferred
  • Experience in Bookkeeping, AP/AR, financial reporting, month-end accounting close, and assisting with payroll
  • Strong leadership skills
  • You are computer savvy with MS Excel experience
  • Experience in using construction management software - ServiceTitan
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Courteous, professional manner
  • Excellent multitasking and follow-up skills
  • Attention to detail
