Activity / Frequency

Coordinates start / end of shift

-Keep attendance records, discipline reports

Control of material for inspection and rework

Fill out Job Reports, update Q-Matters Database daily

Coordinate Sort activity, as required

-Develop Work instructions. Quality Alerts, as required

-Keep inventory control on Quarantined material and material transactions into customer system as needed.

-Keep control on inventory of material and job assigned.

-Keep proper material identification and packaging. Seal boxes, packages, develop reports as needed.

-Scrap disposition as per Customer requirement and approval

Coordinate Rework of material as required

-Observe and follow same rules as for Sort activity

Problem Solving

-Complete Problem-Solving analysis while required, take effective countermeasures for resolution. Correct use of 5 Why and other formats and techniques

-Support in identifying Root Cause for problems reported by Customer for sorting and/or rework. Maintain effective communication with Customer. Take actions only after Customer agrees and approve.

Work Area organization:

-Maintain Orderliness and cleanliness

-Adequately assign jobs to personnel under his/her responsibility and command observing rules for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale.

-Keep control on inventory needed for job. Identification, markers, printed reports, measuring equipment (caliper, etc)

-Keep Job assigned equipment in a good state and control, laptop, scanner, job equipment, tables, chairs, lamps. Keep inventory updated.

Coordinate all activities assigned

-Including filling out Customer forms, reports, and compliance with their procedures, i.e. Safe Launch Plan, Prototype Control

Communication with Customer

-Daily meetings and other as required

-Daily timely reports as required

-Effective and assertive communication

Communication with Personnel:

-Daily meetings with assigned personnel

-Ensure correct understanding of job, and expectations

-Effective resolution for personnel conflicts. Keep discipline.

 

Other activity as needed:

-Material physical movement

-Correct Packing, unpacking, re-packing

-Correct use of Forklift, pallets
