Hardscape Install Technician

This fast growing premium hardscape company is searching for eager and motivated stone masons, with a flair for creativity, to round out the team.

Duties:

· Will perform tasks as necessary as directed by the Install Foreman on site.

· Task could include, but are certainly not limited to:

o Determining the tools and materials needed for the days’ tasks and getting the truck ready to go in the morning.

o Moving materials and tools to and from the truck and job site.

o Laying and cutting pavers or stone according to design plans or project specifications.

o Operate machinery and in some cases manually dig area involved in excavation and dirt removal to prepare site

o Operate machinery and power tools involved in placing and shaping pavers and stone

o Mixing concrete or grout needed for a job

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Ability to do simple math without a calculator or paper

· Ability to lift 50 lbs or more

· Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in either heat or cold

· Must be self-motivated with a good attitude about hard work

· Show at least 2 years experience working with stone masonry

· Must have SC Mason license through SC LLR or ICPI/ CMHA Certification

· Ability to visualize and implement aesthetic patterns into a construction design.

· Experience running machinery.

· Familiarity with stone cutting, shaping, and binding tools.

· Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work
