The SEO Specialist responsibilities include driving organic traffic to meet sales goals for a wide range of products, performing keyword research, optimizing our content, and monitoring user engagement across our websites. This is a strategic and hands on role that will manage Ecommerce (Shopify) and SEO content planning and production, link building strategy, competitor and audience research and perform additional tasks as needed to grow organic traffic. To be successful in this role, you should be an expert with Shopify and current SEO techniques and tools and have excellent analytical skills.

Ultimately, this is an individual contributor role that requires appropriate Ecommerce, technical SEO, content planning, Email Marketing, Website Management and writing skills within a successful web business.

Job Type: Full-time Onsite. Remote is not allowed.

Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research: Identify relevant keywords and phrases.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content.
  • Technical SEO: Ensure the website is optimized for speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Link Building: Acquire high-quality backlinks.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices.
  • Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify technical issues and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years in SEO management with a proven track record.
  • SEO Tools: Proficiency in SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics. Experience with Ahrefs and Moz is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of website architecture, crawlability, and site speed optimization.
  • Content Strategy: Experience in developing and executing content strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze SEO data and identify trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to search engine algorithm changes.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Position – Full Time Salary

Benefits:
  • Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • Eligible for the company’s 401k plan after 90 days of employment.
  • Sick hours are earned from date of hire and eligible to use after 90 days of employment.
  • 7 paid holidays per year.
  • Eligible to earn vacation time after 3 months of employment.
