$22-$24 hourly (Includes full benefits)

We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Accounting Department.

The Billing Specialist compiles, manages, and executes company billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This employee may also perform a variety of other accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with staff, vendors and clients while maintaining confidentiality of client and company matters.

Responsibilities:

• Processes billing twice monthly, with a focus on clients with contract or special billing requirements
• Resolves ad hoc billing requests in a timely manner
• Provides internal customer service for all billing needs
• Manages billing portal access, including initial setup, maintenance and ongoing invoice submissions
• Support the accounting team with various tasks or duties as needed (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
• Supports annual and interim audit requests
• Generate electronic bills in compliable format and upload to various electronic billing programs per client guidelines
• Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
• Utilizes computerized accounting and payables software programs

Requirements:

• 6+ months of accounting or administrative experience
• College degree preferred, not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Has strong attention to detail and manages deadlines well
• Excellent communication skills, both written and orally
