About the job HVAC Lead Installer

About the Role: Excellent opportunity NEW opening for Residential Lead HVAC Installer OR Installer positions (2 openings) with some light commercial equipment. This is a mid career experienced HVAC position for residential & commercial field Install workers. Perfect opportunity for a team player who can work individually in the field or on a team.   • Pay rate up to $110K piece work (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and ensure tasks & schedules for estimated labor hours, complete service reports, following working orders outlined by supervisor, able to work independently or on a team-
  • Installing Residential Heating & Air Conditioning equipment; Boilers & Hot Water Tanks, exhaust systems, Furnaces, RTU
  • Installation of ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and/or gas piping
  • Install for RTU's splits, mini-splits, duct fittings and duct required and wiring both indoor and outdoor equipment. Able to work independently or on a team
  • Maintaining detailed inventory of equipment & resources
  • Oversee an Apprentice Installer, ensure good customer service, and safety on site.
  • Ensuring equipment is in compliance with standards & Safety Act

Requirements

  • Low voltage Electrical wiring Schematics & blueprint reading
  • Lift & move 70 lbs
  • Have hand tools
  • 3+ years Experience with equipment Installation, duct work, Sheet Metal, & piping (brazing, sweating the lines)
  • Familiarity with sheet metal & able to perform equipment replacement
  • Journeyman Installer welcomed but not required.
  • Universal EPA - preferred not required
  • Experience with installing RTUs, central built up AC systems
  • Ability to lift & move 70 lbs and use hand tools
  • Organized, detail oriented willing & able to learn new skills
  • Clean Driving record
