We are seeking a Geotechnical Staff Professional/Engineer who will report directly to our Chief Engineer and be responsible for Organizing, Performing and Producing Geotechnical Reports on varying projects such as Geotechnical Subsurface Explorations for proposed developments, Slope Stability Studies, Foundation Testing and reporting, Retaining Wall Special Inspections and other tasks that are typical for the industry. We have staff technicians to assist in the field work you would have to assist and direct as needed. Small Firm with ownership potential for dedicated professionals.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

  • BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Civil, Geotechnical, or Mining Engineering, or ability to obtain within 6 months;
  • Engineering Intern certification preferred;
  • 0-2 years of professional experience;
  • Basic working knowledge of construction plans and specifications;
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn commercial software applications;
  • Overnight, out-of-town travel and the ability to work outside normal business hours;
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions;
  • Routine lifting: 40 to 50 lbs.

DETAILS

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
