We are seeking a Masonry Foreman to join The Borsello Team You will Oversee the Activities of Our Team of Masons.

Job Summary:

Borsello's Masonry Forman Supervises & Coordinates the Activities of Masons, Bricklayers, & Laborers. The Role involves Ensuring Projects are Completed on Time, within Budget, & According to Specifications. The Masonry Forman provides Technical Expertise, Manages Work Schedules, & Ensures Safety & Quality Standards are Maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

  • Review Project Plans and Blueprints.
  • Fill out Log Books & Daily Paperwork
  • Estimate Materials & Labor required for Projects.
  • Monitor Project Progress and make Adjustments as needed.
  • Adhere to Prevailing Wage Apprenticeship Ratio Specifications

• Technical Expertise:

  • Provide Guidance on Masonry Techniques & Best Practices.
  • Ensure Proper Use of Tools & Equipment.
  • Resolve Technical Issues that arise during Masonry Construction.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to All Safety Policies and Procedures - Including Keeping any Necessary Safety Information On-Site
  • Enforce Safety Protocols & Regulations On-Site
  • Conduct Regular Safety Inspections.
  • Ensure Compliance with Building Codes and Industry Standards.

• Quality Control:

  • Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Address any defects or issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship.

• Communication:

  • Liaise with PM, Superintendent, Office Personnel & and any GC Clients - including attending Meetings
  • Report on Project Status, Issues, & Progress
  • Delegate Production Assignments to Appropriate Teams & Personnel
  • Provide Consistent Clear & Concise Instructions
  • Provide Feedback to / and from Team Members.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in Production, or Other Related Fields
• OSHA 30, CPR, other Certifications
• Knowledge of Telehandlers, Masonry Production Tools & Equipment
• Strong Leadership Qualities
• Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
