Library Media Specialist

The Library Media Specialist in this role works as teachers, instructional leaders, instructional partners and program coordinators who manage the daily functions of the Library Media Center. They work with stakeholders to accomplish goals that include: 1) ensuring that all students and staff have opportunities to become effective creators, users, and curators of ideas and information 2) collaborating to design and implement information literacy and digital literacy instruction 3) working as part of the library team to develop a creative vision for the learning commons whose goals integrate with the school and district goals and 4) establish the learning commons as a central space for learning, making, critical thinking and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Professional Educator License with Library Information Specialist endorsement(s) and/or Media endorsement
