Pay Rate: $19 - $23 per hour (D.O.E)
Location: Santa Ana, Ca
Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in maintaining the facility and equipment through necessary repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and execute verbal assignments from production and maintenance management.
- Complete written work orders.
- Perform daily tasks from the Facilities checklist.
- Inspect and maintain the water boiler, including checking chemical tank, releasing pressure, and adjusting salt levels.
- Assist mechanics as needed.
- Request and follow up on needed parts.
- Communicate daily with the maintenance team about issues.
- Conduct daily facility inspections and resolve issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the maintenance shop and yard.
- Perform maintenance at the Rialto warehouse as needed.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Follow food safety, quality, and legal regulations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-house GMP/HACCP Certificate.
- Forklift (sit-down and stand-up) and boom/scissor lift certified.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequent exposure to wet or humid conditions and flour dust.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes.
- Moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel.
- Occasionally required to sit, reach, climb, balance, and taste or smell.
- Must frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Adequate communication and observational skills, including seeing, speaking, and hearing.
