UNC Holly Springs is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team Apply today

Setting: 850 South Main Street Holly Springs, NC 27540

Pay: Starts at $29, and goes up per experience level

Shifts: Nights

Units:

  • Short Stay/Surgery Prep
  • Med/Surg

 

Responsibilities:

SS: Short Stay unit prepares patients for surgery involving perioperative assessment, medications, labs, IV's and patient preparation. Frequently placed in charge position.

Provides care to patients for 24-48 hours or less in many different settings.

Patients may be admitted with an expected short stay post operatively, for a medical condition or until they transition to a specific nursing unit.

MS: Care for patients before and after any medical surgical procedure. In addition to prepping patients for procedures and answering any questions they might have, a med surg nurse must also consider how the patient’s underlying health issues will affect their recovery from any medical surgical procedure. Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education.

 

Must haves:

  • NC RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • ASN
  • 1 year of acute hospital experience
