Oxford Solutions currently has a client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the planning of engineering analysis, product design, and development for space and water heating products and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the engineering analysis, design, and development of HVAC products including heat pump systems, boilers, and other related systems.
  • Ensure all products meet and exceed program requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the testing and certification processes for heat pump systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of HVAC engineering.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering applications and product development related to heat pump systems, boilers, and other HVAC products.
  • Understanding of ASHRAE, NEEA, ANSI, CSA, DOE, AHRI, Energy Star standards,
  • processes and testing methods and requirements
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D software
  • Experience in HVAC design software a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
