Administrative/Customer Service Rep
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wage Rate: $15.00 to $17.00/hour (DOE)

Visitor Information Specialist:
Customer Service Reps are responsible for providing information about Panama City Beach to the general public through call centers, information centers, inquiry fulfillment, and other channels. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and must be computer literate
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal means
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Having a good understanding of Panama City Beach’s tourism industry is preferred

General Scope of Duties:

  • Provide information in a knowledgeable, courteous, and professional manner
  • Assist members of the public at the Official Information Centers, or other locations, as assigned
  • Manning the call center(s), conducting "Live Chat" on the website
  • Knowledgeable of the websites and social media platforms
  • Provide timely responses to written, verbal, and electronic visitor inquiries through approved mail processes
  • Compile the visitor response materials for processing
  • Maintaining visitor inquiry origination lists for record purposes
  • Proper use and general working knowledge of office equipment
  • Upkeep and appearance of the Official Visitor Information Centers
  • Maintaining a professional and businesslike atmosphere through attitude, dress, conduct, and desire to be of service to the public
