Job DescriptionJob Description

Southeast Texas HR is seeking several Manufacturing Inspectors to join our team. In this role, you will be using technology and quality programs to ensure the accuracy of machined parts and components. The pay will be $20 or more per hour based on your experience. These can be direct hire or temp-to-hire positions. This will start as a Monday-Friday position working 8-10 hours per day, however the position could evolve into a 12 hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints in order to be able to inspect manufactured parts.
  • Inspect manufactured parts for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards while
    ensuring print tolerances are as expected.
  • Record inspection data as needed in a legible format.
  • Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following:

  • Ability to work as an effective team player.
  • 3 or more years of machining or manufacturing inspection experience.
  • High School diploma.
  • Strong computer and data skills to record processes and inspections.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb, crawl, bend, kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug testing, and work physical.
