This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gutter systems and siding on residential and potentially commercial properties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation:
- Conduct site inspections to assess property needs and measure for roofing, gutters and siding.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for clients.
- Install or replace roofing, gutters and siding using appropriate materials and tools (ladders, power tools, sealants).
- Ensure proper functioning of gutter systems, including directing water flow away from the foundation.
- Adhere to building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Respond to client requests for gutter cleaning and minor repairs.
- Identify and fix damaged gutters, downspouts, and siding components.
- Recommend and implement solutions for gutter system deficiencies.
- Additional tasks may include:
- Providing customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum experience in construction, roofing, gutters, siding.
- 5 years + experience with gutter and siding installation.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to work at heights.
- Valid driver's license .
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
