Summary: Responsible for providing support for quality control and providing IT support role in ensuring Network uptime and performance as directed by senior staff by performing the following duties.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reduce all test data for all types of testing performed in laboratory.
  • Proficient in Excel, desirable to have knowledge of VB or ability to write Macros
  • Develop data macros to improve efficiency in data reduction process.
  • Work with the Quality Manager on improving the lab data automation.
  • Performs routine network / computer maintenance to ensure operational performance.
  • Supports staff with computer related issues, network performance issues, and other computer/server related tasks.
  • Perform Pre/Post measurements/inspections on test specimens.
  • Work with Quality to maintain and to improve all aspects of LIMS.
  • Perform and maintain all laboratory equipment calibrations.
  • Takes direction from senior staff and follows procedures.*
  • Communicates with clients on program needs.*
  • Meets all deadlines.*
  • Responsible for data reduction and reports to senior staff.*
  • Operates corporate equipment safely.*
  • Repairs corporate equipment when necessary.*
  • Ensures compliance with budget.*
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
