Cocheco Veterinary Hospital, a companion animal hospital located in Farmington, NH. has an opening for a Veterinary Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field within the past three years or is a current tech student or recent tech graduate. This is a great opportunity to work for a family owned practice.
Our technicians are highly valued team members who utilize and grow their skills with us. Job skill requires the ability to restrain animals, blood draws, place IV catheters, administer and monitor anesthesia, process laboratory tests, dental cleanings and digital radiology. Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds.
This position is a full-time position requiring a four day work week to include rotating Saturdays. Benefits included are, up to 15 paid vacation days and 2 days paid personal days, 50% company offered health insurance premium, paid license renewal and yearly required approved continuing education credits.
