Vaco Denver is currently recruiting for the position of Landman. This role requires onsite presence and is a direct hire opportunity. The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties and Key Responsibilities:

•            Assist in supervising leasing initiatives and coordinating field contractors

•            Conduct negotiations for oil and gas leases and associated paperwork

•            Assess and resolve title issues related to leasing and ongoing development initiatives

•            Create and circulate proposals for wells, land contracts, and State/Federal forms to ensure regulatory compliance

•            Prepare and present applications and relevant land testimony for commission hearings

•            Address inquiries from property owners and stakeholders promptly

•            Oversee and finalize mineral transactions

Key Skills:

•            Proficient in Leasing Program Management

•            Skilled in Contract Negotiation

•            Experienced in Title Review and Issue Resolution

•            Capable in Document Drafting and Distribution

•            Knowledgeable in Regulatory Compliance

•            Able to Provide Support for Commission Hearings

•            Effective in Stakeholder Communication

•            Competent in Mineral Transaction Management

Education and Background:

•            5-8 years of in-house experience as a landman with an operator

•            Familiarity with development program tasks such as spacing, pooling

•            Comprehensive understanding of oil and gas leases, JOAs, farmouts, PSAs, and related contracts

•            Direct involvement in leasing and lease negotiation processes

•            Experience in managing land brokers for leasing projects

Additional Requirements:

•            Successful completion of pre-employment background screening

•            Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
