Grounds Keeper 

Pay $13hour  

FullTime 

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm 

Site Location-Duluth, GA 

Job Summary: 

The Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior and common areas of the apartment complex, ensuring a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents and visitors. This role involves routine maintenance, landscaping, and minor repairs, and addressing issues that impact the appearance and functionality of the property. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Cleaning and Upkeep: Regularly clean common areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and recreational areas. Pick up litter and debris to maintain a clean and inviting environment. 

  • Seasonal Tasks: Manage seasonal tasks such as snow removal in winter, leaf collection in autumn, and irrigation system maintenance during warmer months. 

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines for equipment and chemicals. 

  • Inspection and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of the grounds and report any maintenance or repair needs to the Property Manager. Document completed tasks and report any unusual activities or safety concerns. 

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents by addressing any concerns related to grounds maintenance and responding to requests in a timely manner. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other facility staff and departments to coordinate activities and support overall property management efforts. 

 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Reliable Transportation 

  • Report any acts or conditions that may place our product at risk. 

  •  Responsible for following safety rules.  

  • All other duties as assigned.  

  • No specific academic level is required; Able to read & write. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately  

  • The employee must always show excellent safe work habits. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation  

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation  

  • Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
