Job Description:  TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an Accounting Clerk with minimum 1 year of experience in payroll for 1099 paid personnel, specifically drivers, cash application, and other general accounting duties. 

*Drivers when paid 1099 in this setting are called Owner/Operators

Summary:  Responsible for Driver pay initially for one of two trucking companies.  Assist with driver pay for the second trucking company as needed.  Assist with cash application as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly driver pay and deductions
  • Process escrow disbursals when required
  • Reconcile loan and escrow reports to the G/L
  • Provide backup assistance with all EFS requirements when needed (i.e. money codes, setting up drivers, turning fuel cards on/off, etc)
  • Respond to both drivers and terminals when questions arise related to driver payroll.
  • Order office supplies and distribute them
  • Pick up and distribute incoming mail and assist with outgoing mail
  • Assist with cash application as needed.
