Job DescriptionJob Description

Queen City Manufacturing is looking for motivated candidates with an interesting in a manufacturing and machine tool career to fill a position in our growing family of companies. The ideal candidate should have an interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing and developing skills operating machine tools (primarily lathes, power tools, and hand tools), be comfortable receiving both verbal and written instructions, and be comfortable using measuring instruments such as tape measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Review job routers and drawings to determine job requirements and processes.
  • Setup machines, tools, parts, and operate to complete each job according to instruction.
  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner to machine parts to spec.
  • Inspect parts to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working order.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Eager to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Enjoys working with hands and operating heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50lb.
  • Ability to read typical measurement and inspection equipment.
