Seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for a Specialty client of our's

Full time, M-F, 9-5pm

Looking to start ASAP.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients in a pleasant and timely manner
  • Patient check in/out for surgical procedures
  • Utilizing internal EMR to create provider records, scan medical records & documents that include active medical insurance cards, driver's licenses or equivalent ID(s) & insurance information
  • Verifying registration forms are complete & obtain referring physician & primary physician information
  • Collecting all applicable co-payments, coinsurance, deductible or outstanding balance from the patient & post all payments collected
  • Researching & assisting patients with questions regarding balances including collecting applicable payments
  • Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of lobby/reception area to include stocking of business cards

Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in Spanish and English
  • Must be able to commute to New Brunswick and Summit ~3x month
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a medical environmental as Medical Receptionist or Medical Secretary
  • MA Certification - not required, but major plus
