Toddler Teacher

The Smart Start is looking for energetic, nurturing, and loving individual to fill Toddler teacher position. Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with young children.

Job requirements include (but not limited to)…

- Must have previous childcare experience. ECE a plus.

-Lesson planning and implementing

- Communicate effectively with toddlers, their parents and other staff

- Provide quality, nurturing care to toddlers enrolled in the program

-Maintaining a clean and healthy learning environment for children

- Demonstrate skills to properly address developmental needs of infants

and toddlers

- Conduct and document developmental screenings and assessments of

children

-Organizational skills

- Maintain effective, working relationships with children, parents and staff

Must have flexibility with schedule (we are open from 7am to 6pm). Must be willing to participate in First Aid/CPR training as well as Medication Administration Course.

Salary: $15-$20/hour dependent upon education and experience
