APQP Coordinator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a prominent employer in Goshen, IN that is a leader within the Automotive industry for over 60 years is looking for qualified candidates for an APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Coordinator on 1st shift. This client services markets all around the globe with a wide range of automotive products.
Job Summary: Monitor completion of key outputs according to plan. Identify open issues and concerns resulting from team meetings/notes and coordinate action plans with the team.
APQP Coordinator Job Summary:

• $16+/hr.
• 8am - 5pm (could vary some depending on needs)
• The APQP coordinator holds a final review of all APQP outputs and ensures appropriate validation of all customer requirements.
• Takes appropriate actions to inform the customer of any concerns.
• The manufacturing process output includes, but is not limited to:
  • Specifications and drawings
  • Manufacturing process flow chart/layout
  • Manufacturing process PFEMA’s
  • Control Plans
  • Work Instructions
  • Process approval acceptance criteria
  • Data for quality, reliability, maintainability, and measurability
  • Results or error proofing activities
  • Methods of rapid detection of process nonconformities

APQP Coordinator Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to interpret and create/maintain documents, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in various formats. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the plant floor; operate and inspect production equipment; inspect quality of finished goods; and use fine motor skills to create finished products. The employee is regularly required to remain upright or stationary and transport material up to 25 pounds with and without the use of a pallet jack.
