STIHL Training Coordinator

Bryan Equipment Sales, Inc., a STIHL outdoor power equipment distributor located in Loveland, Ohio, is seeking a Training Coordinator responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality sales and technical training in support of the STIHL brand and company initiatives. This individual will ensure that STIHL retail personnel have a thorough knowledge of the STIHL product line, service best practices, and available sales and service resources. The Training Coordinator also participates in promotional activities in the field as well as several events throughout the territory to increase brand awareness and build customer relationships.
General responsibilities include developing new training programs and improve existing training curriculum to serve the needs of our customers. Participate in event-based sales and technical training as an instructor. Determine effective and efficient training approaches to meet challenges in providing sales and technical training throughout Bryan Equipment Sales territory. Assess and develop Sales and Service resources for our customers. Maintain awareness of current trends in employee learning and overall development. Evaluating learning needs of the sales organization and in developing training strategies and plans for established and new products. Assist in planning class schedules, organizing communications to participants, and securing training equipment, materials, and products. Responsible for Training Trailer and field activities where it is used. Required overnight travel which can include some weekends.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, confident, decisive, and action oriented. Good problem-solving and communication skills are required. Position requires a very high degree of interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and leadership to motivate, persuade, and inspire retailers. The ability to train, present product features and speak in front of large crowds is also required. Background in formal adult education is a plus.
The qualified candidate should have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individuals must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record that enables Bryan Equipment Sales to insure and provide a vehicle.
