Lawn Care Worker

Position Summary

Perform general landscaping tasks including grounds clean up, mowing grass, maintaining gardens, and other general duties to ensure the overall residential landscaping is maintained properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape duties (cut grass, trim, and edge around trees, maintain walkways, and promote plant health) around the community and golf courses
• Lawn care maintenance, including mowing, trimming, blowing, hedge trimming, mulching,
• Complete landscaping to keep the outside of the building clean, safe, and beautiful
• Maintain new decorative bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs
• Prune existing shrubs and trees to remove any overgrowth
• Apply fertilizer to lawns and plants when needed
• Spray lawns, shrubs, and trees with herbicides, and insecticides
• Clear debris and maintains driveways and walkways in a safe condition
• Keep job area clean and organized
• Sharpen tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shear
• Maintain, clean, and properly store landscaping equipment

Qualifications:

• Drivers license and vehicle preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Work well with team
• Able to stay focused and work well without supervision
