Forensic Crash Investigator / Engineering Technician – Full Time

 

Description:

 

Seeking qualified individual to investigate and reconstruct traffic collisions for civil and criminal cases.

 

This position involves interaction with the insurance and legal community as well as government and military agencies and requires strict confidentiality. This versatile position ranges from professional office and court environment to sporadic work in adverse conditions investigating critical incidents on site.

 

Requirements:

 

Applicant must have a professional demeanor, be self-motivated and have excellent communication and time management skills.

 

Knowledge of electronic survey, GPS, drone, 3-D scanning and photographic equipment preferred. Candidate must also have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills, computer literacy, report writing skills, and proficiency with CAD programs and Microsoft Office.

 

Engineering, law enforcement and/or military education and/or experience preferred. Must be familiar with basic vehicle mechanical components. In-service training will be provided to familiarize with specific tasks required. Must be able to lift and transport 50 pounds of equipment.

 

References:

 

Minimum of four verifiable references required. Security, credit and background checks will be conducted. Applicant must pass drug screening, have no criminal history and have a valid driver’s license with no at-fault collisions and no moving violations.

 

Benefits:
