Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and fulfill all aspects of Demand Response Programs and Capacity Market Participation (PJM / NYISO / ISO-NE)
  • Perform financial modeling of various distributed generation technologies and investment options
  • Support business development process by meeting with current and prospective clients, presenting analyses and communicating regulatory developments
  • Compile, condense and analyze internal and external data sources on grid emissions to develop recommendations on carbon modeling
  • Perform statistical analysis on grid load and pricing to be incorporated into dispatch strategies
  • Act as project manager for compiling data from public sources to make program recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 2-5 years industry experience
  • Detail Oriented
  • Passion for what you do
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in at least two of the following:
    • Statistics/ Data Science
    • Distributed Generation
    • Project Finance
    • Renewable Energy
    • Energy Storage

Preferred:

  • Experience in any of the following:
    • R, Python, MATLAB, etc.
    • Familiarity with regional grid operators (PJM, ISO-NE, NYSIO)
    • Degree in Economics, Energy Policy or Engineering
    • Power Grid Emissions tracking / modeling
