Plumbing Drafter

We are hiring for a Plumbing Drafter / Designer to join our team This person should will have proven experience Designing Plumbing Systems on a variety of commercial, Residential and multi-family projects including but not limited to Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, Office Buildings, Shopping Centers, Libraries, Museums and Amusement Parks.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed models: Using Revit to visualize piping and fixtures, and to create detailed drawings and models for reference
• Selecting materials: Choosing the right materials and parts for the project
• Providing information: Including details about pipe size, installation and drainage requirements, and necessary materials in their designs
• Collaborating: Working closely with other team members, such as builders and planners, to ensure the project stays within budget and on schedule
• Providing support: Offering client service, direction, and ongoing support throughout the project
• Design plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and multi-family projects.
• Develop construction documents
• Collaborate on Revit-based projects
• Layout piping
• Water service sizing
• Sump pumps
• Perform energy calculations with EnergyPro or similar systems

Ideal Qualifications (but seeking all levels of experience)

• 3+ years' experience preferred
• Experience is preferred over education, but an engineering degree is a plus.
• Experience with commercial projects and/or high-end residential
• Able to speak confidently and represent your team in meetings, phone calls, correspondence with clients
• Able to provide direction to design team and report to seniors
• Knowledge of applicable codes and Title 24
• Project experience in Revit
