Job Title: Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Henderson, CO
Pay: $21 - $24hr

Essential Functions

  • Receive Materials: Accurately and promptly handle incoming materials.
  • Verification: Check quantities and descriptions against packing lists, invoices, and other records.
  • Damage Control: Inspect for damaged goods and handle claims with freight companies and vendors.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move shipments within the facility and to/from trucks.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials from receiving to designated storage or operational areas.
  • Loading/Unloading: Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Shipping Preparation: Set up shipments, prepare materials for transport, and manage shipping documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Track, monitor, and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate records and organized storage.
  • Problem Resolution: Research and reconcile receiving issues as needed.
  • Cyclic Counts: Assist with regular inventory counts and maintenance.
  • Deliveries/Pick-Ups: Make deliveries and pick-ups using the company truck when required.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Tool Management: Safely use and maintain overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand tools.

Position Summary

Perform diverse warehouse, shipping, and receiving tasks to support the smooth operation of our facilities. Promote a team environment and seek ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the production and manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment for energy industries.
  • Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and EPICOR.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliability: Dependable and able to fulfill obligations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Computational Ability: Basic math and computational skills.
  • Adaptability: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to identify priorities and function with minimal supervision.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
  • Work Hours: Ability to work a 48-hour work week.
