Palisade Construction performs contract work for Manufactured and Modular homes in East Tennessee. The applicant for this position should be skilled OR eager to learn the following:

• JOB DUTIES

1. Install baseboards, casings, and crown molding trim
2. Caulk and paint trim
3. Cut, hang, mud, and repair drywall
4. Sand and paint drywall
5. Repair and finish textured ceilings
6. Install interior door frames, jambs, and doors
7. Adjust cabinets
8. Seam and stretch carpet
9. Clean homes after trim-out has been completed
10. Ability to work underneath and on top of homes
11. Ability to safely operate power tools, saws, nail guns, and staple guns
12. Ability to precisely measure and cut materials
13. Additional duties, as needed.

• REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid driver’s license
2. Be committed to doing excellent work
3. Be early each morning
4. Be open-minded and eager to learn new skills
5. Be dependable
6. Be committed to being a good teammate
7. Be a great communicator
8. Carpentry skills or willingness to learn from the best
9. Ability to work in all forms of weather (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow)
10. Endurance to perform difficult tasks for long periods of time
11. Ability to safely climb ladders
12. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
13. Open availability/weekend availability
14. Other physical duties, as needed

 

This is a 1099 position. You will be paid weekly and be encouraged to become increasingly valuable to the team. We run a tight ship, but we love what we do and think you will too.

We travel to newly constructed job sites and perform the interior finish work.
