Bayshore Elite Mobile Gymnastics offers gymnastics classes for ages 3 and up at various park sites and community locations along the Peninsula. Our mobile program also brings top quality private instruction and activities to client homes or chosen sites, and each coaching team is equipped with a full scope of fun gymnastics props and equipment, provided by the program.
This position involves coaching recreational gymnastics and general fitness and flexibility to preschool and school aged children. Classes are held both indoors and outdoors at school sites and recreational locations. Each 30-45 minute group class incorporates a wide range of gymnastics skills, drills, games, and music designed to enhance fitness, flexibility, strength, and discipline. This work environment is a fun, playful yet structured, and perfect for anyone who likes working with kids. Coaches may also opt to do special events such as birthday parties, private, semi-private and privately hosted group lessons.

Regular classes pay an minimum of $21-$30 per hour depending on experience. Special event and private lesson pay ranges from $50-$100 per hour. Coaches are paid weekly.


Coaching responsibilities include:
  • Set-up of gymnastics mats and mobile obstacle courses for kids.
  • Coach 30-60 minute gymnastics classes for preschool and school aged children on site at various elementary schools and other recreational sites.
  • 2 years minimum work experience with children required. Gymnastics experience a plus but not required.
  • Working with other coaches supervising and coaching special events such as birthday parties, private lessons and small group classes.
  • Loading, unloading and set-up of gymnastics equipment. (Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum)
  • Communicating with parents about kids and their progress.
  • Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.

Salary: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour
