Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Specialist at Asta CRS, Inc. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for quality control, quality assurance, quality management, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conducting quality audits. Daily tasks include ensuring compliance with quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality processes.

Essential duties

  • Develop supporting test plans and implement a strategy for creating and maintaining reusable test data.
  • Create and implement automated testing of web applications across multiple web browsers and platforms.
  • Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.
  • Collect performance requirements, along with developing the appropriate performance test work products (test strategies, plans, scenarios and scripts).
  • Support and maintain quality related metrics like unit test coverage, testing progress.
  • Collaborate with project managers, solution analysts, the Quality Assurance team and developers on project and application-level test automation. Help identifying candidates for inclusion in test automation.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of QA automation or software testing experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of API testing (Postman), performance testing (JMeter), SQL database

Open for relocation to anywhere in the United States is a must.
