2. Enrolled Agent Designation or CPA required

Responsibilities

1. Prepare complex corporate tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065), ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state and local tax laws, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state and local tax laws

3. Prepare and/or review Trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state and local tax laws

4. Review financials to guarantee accuracy before proceeding with tax preparation

5. Prepare and/or review individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state and local tax laws

6. Resolve IRS/State tax notices in an accurate and timely fashion and correspond with IRS through a power of attorney.

7. Assist in tax planning and payment of clients quarterly estimated taxes

8. Training and mentoring of staff

9. Work independently, with minimal supervision

11. Help to improve the company’s workflow by using the software and technologies available in a proficient manner
