Duties
· Setup Samco and Automatic hydraulic die cutting presses
· Cut foam into strips/sheets/pads/shapes
· Follow job tickets for steel rule die to be used and size with cutting information
· Move strips/sheets/pads/shapes processed to other process in the factory as needed.
· Assist in other areas as needed.
· Follow all rules and regulations
· Follow all safety guidelines when running the equipment
· Keep a safe clean area around the equipment for your safety and the safety of others.
working conditions/ physical requirements
The die press requires its operator to manually insert foam into the press, over the die and press the palm buttons to make the punch.
· Standing, kneeling or sitting is required for the duration of the shift.
· The ability to lift 25+ pounds.
· Push and or pull materials using pallet jacks, carts, 2-wheelers and various other tools.
