Join a successful, established and stable accounting office that has been a leading provider of tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses in the surrounding communities since 1981 .  As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an Accountant to our team.  If you are motivated to help others succeed and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.  We are hiring now

This position will be responsible for tasks such as individual & business tax return preparation, consulting with clients, financial statement preparation, payroll processing, and preparation of various payroll & sales tax returns.

We offer competitive compensation with bonuses, paid training, retirement plan, company-paid health insurance and paid time off in a relaxed work environment.  We also work a shorter schedule during the non-tax season period to provide more work/life balance.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required, Masters preferred
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and procedures
  • Two years experience in tax preparation and accounting required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic, detail-oriented and professional in appearance and personality
  • Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and Word
