Job DescriptionJob Description

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an Auto Technician for a locally owned, fast-paced, auto repair facility in Swartz Creek, MI. Whether you are an experienced professional looking for a positive change or someone just starting out with a mechanical mindset, we welcome you to apply. Hours: 8:30a-5:30p, Mon-Fri. Pay: $17.00-$22.00/hr based on experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic to advanced auto repairs, including but not limited to oil changes, brake repairs, muffler replacements, and a multitude of other mechanical tasks.

  • Perform tire rotations, alignments, and balancing.

  • Replace and repair vehicle suspension systems, including shocks and struts.

  • Service and repair heating and air conditioning systems.

  • Perform engine tune-ups and overhauls.

  • Inspect and repair electrical and electronic systems, including batteries, alternators, and starters.

  • Flush and replace vehicle fluids, such as transmission fluid, coolant, and brake fluid.

  • Assist with busy work and clean-up tasks during slower periods.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferably experienced in auto repair, but we are open to training eager learners with a mechanical aptitude.

  • ASE certification is a plus, especially in brakes.

  • Master Mechanic certification is highly desirable.

  • Possession of personal tools is preferred; however, we can accommodate entry-level candidates with shared tools initially.

  • Strong team player who works well with others.

  • Willingness to perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.
