JOB TITLE: Security Guard, Facilities

DEPARTMENT: Facilities

REPORTING TO: Facilities Manager

SUMMARY:

Piasecki Aircraft Corporation is seeking a Security Guard with relevant facilities security experience. PiAC’s Security Guards are responsible for protecting the facility against damage, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. PiAC’s security force must be particularly vigilant to ensure there are no security breaches by enforcing security procedures. Available shift open: Mon-Fri 12PM to 6PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and authorize arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Record all entries/exits through the gate on the Facility Security Log.
• Keep a constant check on security of all buildings and property of Piasecki Aircraft Corporation. After normal working hours, make hourly rounds to ensure buildings are secure in accordance with specified route and schedule. Record each building visit by station key entry on the Watchman’s Clock.
• Record any security violations on an incident report.
• Check for fire and safety or security hazards, as well as security of all office and factory space.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / CLEARANCES:

• High School Graduate or GED (Required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (Required)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Ability to comprehend, carry out and explain verbal and written instructions (Required)
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and speaking (Required)
• Experience working for a government agency or government contractor (Preferred)
