Our client supports the logistics for a leading Austin-based electric vehicle manufacturer. Our Warehouse Forklift Driver positions are located in warehouse facilities along I-35 in Kyle, TX.
The Warehouse Forklift Driver is responsible for loading and unloading freight, inventory control, rotation and inspection, and other warehouse-related duties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to customers.
Warehouse Forklift Driver Job Summary:
  • Work just 15 days per month
  • Day Shift and Night Shift ABCD Schedule
  • 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am
  • Wk 1 – work Sun, Mon, Thur, Fri
  • Wk 2 – work Tue, Wed, Sun
  • $19.00-$20.00 per hour
  • Temp to HIRE
Warehouse Forklift Driver Duties:
  • Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
  • Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort them according to the size of freight and destination
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.
  • Read, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing process
  • Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests
  • Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight
  • Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports
  • Responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse
Warehouse Forklift Driver Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to operate a variety of equipment such as a sit-down forklift, cherry picker, stand-up reach truck, etc.
  • Strong organizational, inventory, and accounting skills
  • Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
