? Knowledge of GAAP accounting (accruals) is a must 

? Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities: 

? Reports to the Controller, and is expected to produce accurate and credible financial reporting 

? Perform healthcare accounting functions by verifying, updating, and reconciling accounts 

? Prepare, record, and process accounting transactions, utilizing ERPs, and ensure allocation to appropriate accounts 

? Identify and remediate accounting discrepancies 

? Prepare monthly journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting closings to ensure timely, accurate and complete accrual of financial transactions and account for any variances 

? Monitor and report net income, balance sheet and cash flow variances against historical data to identify anomalies or discrepancies and ensure information is accurate and credible 

? Review accounts and calculate financial adjustments to ensure proper account reconciliation 

? Assemble and reviews supporting documentation to ensure compliance with audits 

? Compile and review financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting 

? Ensure maintenance of financial records for compliance with accepted policies and procedures 

? Responsible for supporting financial and non-financial controls to meet business requirements 

? Assist in preparing an annual budget 

? Willingness to pitch in and help where needed
