PAY RATE: $19.70 per hour

 

Pharmacy Technician Hours: M-F between 7:00am and 7:00pm (8hr shift) plus possible 10-14 hours of OT

 

 Pharmacy Technician Job Description:

·        You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

·        Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

·        Medication Dispensing:

•       Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.

•       Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.

•       Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product

•       Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.

•       Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

 

  

Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

·        Must have active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license

·        High school graduate or equivalent

·        Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line

·        Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift

·        CPhT preferred but not required

 

 Nice to have: retail experience, health insurance background, prior auth
