Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager of Contracts in the preparation and administration of contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and process contract requisitions and change requests with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Support contract award activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.
  • Monitor approvals, track milestone schedules, and validate accounting and scope of work to align with vendor proposals.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract records and correspondence, proactively resolving any issues or actions that arise.
  • Monitor contract performance and project controls to ensure cost projections and legal language align with requirements.
  • Collaborate with Contract, Procurement, and Project Managers to manage contract scope and project controls effectively.
  • Analyze legal contract language and summarize scope of work requirements with precision.
  • Assure invoice accuracy and completeness in alignment with contract provisions and project completion.
  • Create and manage action logs, establish contract reporting, and provide regular status updates on projects.
  • Assist in developing briefs, presentations, and maintaining confidentiality of supplier pricing.

Qualifications:

  • Past experience and knowledge of legal contracts, with preference given to candidates with paralegal experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and compliance in contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze legal language and summarize complex requirements.
  • Proficiency in project controls, contract management, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
