Job Summary for Accountant/Bookkeeper:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities Accountant/Bookkeeper :
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling balance sheets and accounts
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure timely deposits
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger postings
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/ AP-AR or in a similar role

-Previous manufacturing environment a huge plus
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, including debits and credits
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
